  • What is Wylde?
Wylde is Australia's first houseplant and pot marketplace app that aims to empower local and independent plant sellers by connecting them to buyers. Like many of us, the COVID-19 pandemic put an entirely new spin to how we get our plant fix. As buyers, reaching our local plant community had become harder. Wylde provide small businesses, independent sellers & hobbyists with an online presence without the need to create their e-commerce site, or as another channel to reach buyers. We also market and showcase products anyway we can through our social media channels. Wylde is currently in it's Beta launch (pre-launch), and as such, the support and feedback that we receive from the community is greatly appreciated.
  • Does Wylde offer Buyer and Seller Protection?
Yes, we do. Our aim as a plant marketplace is to ensure that there is confidence in transactions done through the app, and that it is safe and secure. First and foremostly, we suggest that sellers put their returns policy in their 'Description' section on the app, which you can view by clicking 'About' on their store. In the case of disputes, we ask that as a first port of call, buyers and sellers alike try to resolve issues within the app chat function or using the 'refund request' in 'Orders'. Failing a resolution between the parties, we will generally offer a full refund or a partial refund based on the evidence we collect from each party. Buyers have 14 days after receiving their plant/pot/plant accessory to email us at contact@wyldeplants.com.au to launch a dispute. Likewise, sellers can email us for assistance by way of contact@wyldeplants.com.au. The exact amount of the refund will depend on the evidence submitted.
  • What are Quarantine States? Can I buy/sell from Quarantine States?
Australia has three states that follow separate bio-customs laws: Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory (quarantine states). Due to these restrictions, and to prevent the entry of invasive species, it is illegal to send plants, leaves, flowers, seeds, soil, etc into these states unless the proper protocols are followed. If you are unsure of the state specific bio-customs laws, you can outline in your store description that you do not send to quarantine states. Otherwise, reach out to a quarantine concierge service or local government office for more information.
  • Are all houseplants pet safe?
If your fluffy friend likes to snack on things they shouldn’t, it’s worth picking plants for your home that are certified pet-friendly. Some of the plant-y home staples can be surprising toxic to pets and animals around the home. RSPCA is a fantastic resource for this, so head to https://www.rspcansw.org.au/what-we-do/care-for-animals/pet-hazards/toxic-plants-for-pets/ for more information.
  • I'm having an issue with the app.
Oh no! We're sorry to hear that. For any tech issues or advice on how to use the app, please contact us through the webiste, or at our email contact@wyldeplants.com.au and we will respond within 48 hours.
  • There's a feature I want to see on the app!
We would love to hear from you! We're always open to new features, suggestions or anything you'd like to see with Wylde. We aim to update and add new features every few months thanks to our tireless development team. For suggestions, either message us on the website (here!), email us at contact@wyldeplants.com.au or through 'Feedback' on the app itself.
